The city of Denia is one of the most captivating cities in the northern part of Costa Blanca. It is located in the north of Javea—the weather of Denia is similar to the weather of Costa Blanca. They have a hot summer and mild winter; a little rain is also visible in this area. Every year, Denia takes about 320 days of sunshine. And because of their amazing weather condition, tourists coming from the different countries keep rushing here the whole year round. Since Denia is located in between the two airports which are the Valencia and Alicante visitors can fly either of the two of them. Each of the airports would take an hour and fifteen minutes to the city. After arriving in Denia, renting a car is the best recommendation to take, because this is your way of exploring the city’s beautiful scenery. You can get a renting car at the car companies available in the airport. It would be nice if you book for a car in advance especially during the peak season like summer, expect to have lots of tourists during that time.

Since Denia is known as a working town, you could feel the essence of the Spanish culture that you could not experience in the larger area. Take advantage of exploring Denia through your rented car. Take the opportunity to know better Denia, because there is so much to see and discover in the city. We all know that summer is the peak season in every areas of Spain, of course that includes Denia. But unlike the other cities, Denia does not close down even after the summer season. Most of the cities of Spain would look like a ghost town after the peak season because they close down their establishments, but never in Denia. If you were here you would enjoy shopping and even going to bars and disco pubs even after the summer or peak season.

Another thing that tourists could enjoy in Denia is playing golf. There are two famous golf courses in Denia; the La Sella and Oliva Nova. These two golf courses are not only ideal for golf experts or lovers, but this is also ideal for those who were still learning. Spa treatments in Denia is also great, most of the spa centers are located nearby the beach and mountains. These are great places to go if you want to relax and rejuvenate. But these are no the only things you could enjoy in Denia, these are just the few amongst the many things you can do in here. So if you were here savor the moment and enjoy it much!

Even if Valentines is over, Spain remains a remarkable country whether it’s Valentines or not. Spain is a popular holiday destination especially when you have someone to impress with as it has so much to give and offer in addition to the many romantic places to explore. One place in particular is La Posa del Mar. It overlooks the harbor in Denia, and is especially popular during any Love season. On top of a fine dinner one can avail doubles which range from €150 (£139) and includes strawberries, cava and roses. Another popular accommodation is the holiday apartment in Costa Blanca situated just between Oliva and Denia at Les Deveses. It is typically Spanish, quiet and safe. If you love the sandy white beach it is only five minutes walk from the crib. What’s more, it is accessible to nature reserves, mountain views and cities. You can imagine what it makes for a relaxing holiday.

On the other hand, the inland hills of Denia are fairly unknown and are scattered with Moorish villages where many have surprisingly great restaurants. A fantastic getaway in the area is known as Valls de La Marina. There you can blend gentle walks with sneaking in around the markets. Or, visit vineyards and learn how olive oils are made. And if you like you can spend an entire day in the marvelous neighboring city of Valencia.

Moreover, if you love the music no more than the love season then it makes all the perfect catch now that the Johanna Spanjerberg Quartet performs there every afternoon of Sunday at the Steinways Jazz n’ Blues Club in Denia starting at 3 PM. If jazz is your kind of music it will make just the right place along with a couple of cold drinks and beers to enjoy with while listening to the lovely music by Johanna. The Steinways Jazz n’ Blues Club is located on the left side of Carrer de la Mar, which is the one-way street leading away from the sea and runs opposite the main street of Marques de Campo, where it is between that and the castle. The place plays the best in Funk music, Blues and Jazz.
