 Denia And Its Interesting Beauty

Denia is located in the southern coast of Spain, considered as the small tourist city of the country. It has a population of approximately 40, 000 but it can be doubled by tourism during the summer season. Denia is one of the most captivating cities in Spain. Every year there are more than millions of tourists keep coming back here to spend their holiday vacation.

One of the ways to getting in Denia coming from Alicante is by train. The particular train is also called El trenet. Traveling with the train is a great experience, it would cross through the coast; it is really an interesting trip since there would be a lot of sightseeing you can see through the entire trip which would take for about 2.5 hours. Despite the long journey, it would never be boring because of the captivating sightseeing along the road.

While if you opt to travel by bus, you can always find a bus in Denia since there are daily buses that go and comes from Valencia, Alicante and Madrid. And if you chose to travel by boat, there are also various ferry boats going to the Balearic Island. In the summer time, one ferry boat wills also traveling to Formentera. So it is not really that difficult in going to the city of Denia.

  • Historical Town – despite the fact that most of the part of the town has been full of contemporary apartments being established, the historical town have still its old charm. Wandering around the old nearby fisherman, to the main street or harbour is one of the interesting things you can do here if you want to know better Denia.
  • Beaches – the beaches are one of the main attractions of Denia. The city has around 20km of coasts which are divided into three parts: the rocky, harbour and the sandy. It is best recommended to visit the sandy beaches if you have kids with you. The sandy beaches of Denia are located in the northern part of the city. But if you are a diving addict, the rocky beach is a good option.
  • The Historical Sites – the city of Denia has a long interesting history since the roman period, the moors and even until this recent period of time. Everywhere you glimpse around the town, you can still see the ruins and the historic sites that have been a reminder of the latter settlers before.
